K&W Care Homes is a licensed residential facility located in a very quiet neighborhood in beautiful Stone Mountain, Georgia. Our facility is locally owned and operated by 2 Registered Nurses with over 30 years of combined experience. In our facility, our CNAs are trained to properly care for adults with long term disabilities,physical limitations, dementia, depression and a host of other health conditions. Our primary focus is to provide our residents with a safe and secure environment where they can comfortably relax and enjoy day to day life in a fun and family atmosphere.
K&W's Care Home is a caring and loving residential home. We provide services to adults ages 50 and older. We provide 24 hour monitoring, care, and oversight of our residents. Our staff will address the needs of our Residents by providing a peaceful setting, meals, and social activities in a non-medical and loving environment. We ensure our residents are placed appropriately by collaborating and partnering with their doctor(s), family members, case managers, staff, and other professionals and supporters to help ensure our Residents are offered the best opportunity to thrive so they will maintain optimal health and live a quality fulfilled life.
Services
- Caregivers will prepare nutritious meals daily. Special diets prepared as needed.
- Caregivers will perform light housekeeping services that includes vacuuming, dusting, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms (sinks, showers, baths and toilet), cleaning kitchen (sinks, appliances, counters, taking out the trash and assist with tidying all rooms.
- Caregivers will only assist with errands when needed for urgent situations. Transportation arrangements can be made in advance with a third party vendor; however, family members are strongly encouraged to assist and accompany their loved ones on personal outings (All appointments, pharmacy, post office, and personal shopping).
- Caregiver will assist laundry
- Caregiver will assist with grooming and dressing and routine activities of daily living (as needed).
- Caregiver will assist/help organize daily activities (reading, games or assist with walks outside)
- Caregiver will assist with a shower or bath (as needed).
- Caregiver will strive to provide an acceptable, comfortable, and safe environment for toileting needs.
