Valley View Village is conveniently located in a park-like setting on Des Moines’ East side, near shopping centers, hospitals, medical providers and I-235.

Home to over 200 residents, we pride ourselves on our commitment to providing only the highest quality of care in a Christian environment. As a continuum of care campus, we offer independent living, assisted living, long term care, and skilled nursing care including speech, physical and occupational therapies.

We support the physical, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual needs of each resident, allowing our staff to care for each resident at their stage of life—wherever that may be.

For 50 years, Valley View Village has been the senior adult community of choice for many families, generation after generation. Residents at Valley View Village are truly part of one big family.

Our activities staff is committed to making life for the residents of our Healthcare Center s full and enjoyable as possible. They have access to movies, bingo, parties, theme days, special meals, outings, men’s and women’s clubs, discussion groups and more.

We also address the spiritual needs of our residents and their family members with an in-house chaplain and regularly scheduled chapel services.

Social services are also available on a continual basis to meet the emotional, psycho-social, and personal needs of residents and family members dealing with the transition to long-term care.

This beautiful 54 unit state-of-the-art assisted living building featuring studio, one bedroom, one bedroom + den and two bedroom apartments opened in early 2010. Since then, many seniors in need of assisted living have found a home they love. Our state-of-the-art facility offers secured building access, ample outdoor space, and there is no endowment or buy in. In addition to the beautiful apartments, our assisted living facility boasts features and services designed to enrich daily living even more! Located on 16 beautiful acres; Valley View Village is a vibrant adult community with plenty of opportunities for socialization as well as physical, emotional and spiritual support.
