Lakewood Management Services, LLC was founded in July 2005 by healthcare professionals who possessed a commitment to quality and service excellence. Lakewood’s management team consists of highly qualified professionals with extensive backgrounds in healthcare, long-term care and finance; including licensed nursing home and assisted living administrators, licensed nurses and former state regulatory surveyors.
We provide a full complement of personalized services that range from assisted living, rehabilitative and restorative services to Alzheimer's/ dementia care. We currently operate six assisted living communities located in Alabama and Pennsylvania.
Lakewood Senior Living of Smiths is located in Smiths Station, Alabama; just a short drive to Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama, and only 19 miles from Opelika, Alabama.
Our 16 apartment assisted living offers a homelike, small-town feel where residents enjoy a relaxing atmosphere that promotes independence while offering extra assistance with daily activities. Our caring staff is dedicated to providing exceptional care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Residents can often be found enjoying the spacious front porch when visiting with their families or other residents. We offer three home-cooked meals daily and a full calendar of activities such as bingo, card games, sing-a-longs. Local volunteers also provide entertainment such as music and square dancing.

As licensed assisted living facilities, we provide services to assist your loved one with certain activities of daily living. Each of the services are included in the monthly room charges so there's no need to worry about hidden charges. Listed below are some of the many services we offer:
