Mt. Carmel Community Benton is a first-class assisted living community in Benton, Arkansas. It is within enticing Saline County which is part of the Natural State.
One thing we truly believe sets Mt. Carmel Community apart from other facilities is that we are locally owned and owner managed. Not only do the administrators strive to make sure our facility is a nice, clean building, but also a loving, compassionate place that you can call home. Our staff is committed to providing personal attention and taking quality care of our residents.
Mt. Carmel Community is a licensed Assisted Living II facility. We encourage and enable our residents to enjoy as much independence as possible by providing assistance, as needed, with the activities of daily living and medication management.
More independent seniors might find our garden home option a more suitable transition from their own home, while still allowing them to be a part of our community. The peace of mind and security of having help nearby when needed and yet maintaining a private residence is an attractive alternative for independent seniors.
Our continuation of care also provides a Memory Care option for individuals with a diagnosis of dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. At Mt. Carmel Community, we call our Memory Care Unit, “Elijah’s Place.” Along with 24-hour nursing care, residents of Elijah’s Place benefit from a lower resident to staff ratio. We are pleased to be able to offer such a wide variety of senior living options at each of our three locations.
Assisted Living is an easy-to-understand concept. Our staff can and will provide our residents “assistance” with their activities of daily living. These activities can include, but are not limited to, medication management, bathing, dressing, transferring, and toileting. Of course, meals, housekeeping, transportation to medical appointments, a full slate of activities, and social interaction are all invaluable components of an Assisted Living Community as well. To fully appreciate everything this level of care has to offer, please schedule a tour and visit with our administrator. As a true Assisted Living Facility, Mt. Carmel is licensed and overseen by the state through the Office of Long Term Care. Remember, we are locally owned and owner managed!
Mt. Carmel Community offers an appealing opportunity for the more independent senior who wants to maintain a private residence while still taking advantage of many of the services and amenities offered on our campus. Meals, housekeeping, transportation for medical appointments, lawn service, social interaction, and even an emergency call system, are all provided. All of our garden homes/cottages are one level and wheelchair accessible. Square footage and prices vary depending on the location, but all of our units include a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, and oversized single garage. A welcoming and attractive clubhouse/dining room is available at each location for more intimate dining and social opportunities.
Mt. Carmel is one of the few true ASCUs (Assisted Special Care Units) in the state. At Mt. Carmel Community, we call our Memory Care Unit, “Elijah’s Place.” Elijah was a man who trusted God. He faced seemingly insurmountable obstacles that challenged his faith. We believe some of the most important aspects of Elijah’s character were his unfailing love and compassion. Realizing that each person dealing with acute dementia or an Alzheimer’s condition, is a unique individual; we strive to provide care and compassion, along with patience and persistence, as we assist each resident with their activities of daily living. It is our desire to cultivate a safe, supportive, structured, and loving environment for our residents who require this level of care.
Mt. Carmel Community considers our senior living options more than just places to live. Providing a beautiful, safe, and secure facility in a convenient location is just the foundation upon which our community is built. Caring for the physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual well-being of our residents is what makes Mt. Carmel Community feel like home. We consider each resident and staff member a part of our family. Come by and visit Mt. Carmel Community; we’ll make you feel at home!
