Lynda's Courtyard is an active assisted living community in Tucson, Arizona. It is within enjoyable Pima County which is part of the Grand Canyon State.

Lynda’s Courtyard becomes your home and we wish our residents to be part of our extended family.

Lynda’s Courtyard has 10 spacious private bedrooms and a total of 5 and a half bathrooms (four of the showers are wheelchair accessible). We have a beautiful, mostly covered courtyard that is designed to attract hummingbirds & butterflies while providing a luscious color palette. The courtyard provides a secure walking area so our residents can exercise or just enjoy the outdoors without being blasted by the elements.

We take great care of our residents, both individually and as a group. Nutritious home-made meals that include the resident’s favorite foods are the starting point of our quality care. We also provide a variety of activities that are geared to our residents’ abilities, yet provide challenges for them also. Some activities include senior yoga (appropriate stretching, sitting up straight, etc.), pet therapy, sing-a-longs and other music programs, and much more. These activities are meant to engage our residents in the home’s community.

Celebrations are key to daily life. We will celebrate the birthday of each resident and major (and some minor) holidays to keep the atmosphere full of life!

The general strategy to achieve our mission:

• Provide activities that stimulate our residents mentally and physically
• Hire caring, competent staff. We have 24-hour on-site, English speaking care providers. Our care staff includes two caregivers during the day and one at night making our resident to staff ratio 5:1 during the day and 10:1 at night. This sets Lynda’s Courtyard apart from other assisted living centers that often run a 15:1 ratio and other assisted living homes that run a 10:1 ratio all day.
