Ingleside Assisted Living is our flagship location. Conveniently located in South Atascadero right off the 101, a very short hop from San Luis Obispo. This location is easy to get to and hard to miss. The 14 private rooms, each with a private bath have sliding glass doors that open out onto a small porch that can be set up and personalized any way you want. A Small table and chairs, bird feeders, plants and water fountain are all possibilities! The one larger shared room includes a shared bathroom.
The versatile large central great room can be used for activities, exercises, concerts, socializing, and sharing mealtimes.
Wonderful aromas of homemade baking and fresh home-style cooking waft from the large commercial kitchen, staffed by culinary professionals. Individual and special diets can be accommodated. The grounds emulate a park-like setting, with large porches to enjoy the pleasant views of the rural landscape and enjoy outdoor picnic lunches, BBQ’s, concerts, and afternoon teas!
The building is surrounded by walking paths accessible for wheelchairs and walkers to enable our residents to be revitalized by the change of scenery and fresh air.
A safety fence and an automatic gate help to ensure resident safety. Ingleside Assisted Living is staffed 24 hours a day by our trained and loving caregiving team. We also have a full-time nurse on staff, to ensure the proper health of all our residents. A full-time handyman and groundskeeper ensure the facility and grounds are always in tip-top shape.
We take great pride in the fact that Ingleside is the only/last facility your loved one will ever need. Unless we are mandated by law, no client will be required to leave Ingleside (their home) as a result of increased care needs. Nutrition is vital to a healthy body and mind and Ingleside is proud to offer gourmet home cooking overseen by chef Penny Molsby, the previous owner of Penny’s on the Manse restaurant. Our commercial kitchen allows her and her two sous chefs to create an array of delicious meals, desserts, and snacks.
