With Victorian style and elegance, this gracious 6000 square foot Victorian Mansion offers six beautifully furnished private resident bedrooms – each with a private bath. Administrator Richard Axtell resides on the floor above. Staffing ratios are one to three; quality, loving care is the standard.

Handcrafted ornamental details enhance every room, and truly make Arbor Victoria feel like home. Furnishings are also elegant and refined. Best of all, Arbor Victoria is a Coastal Elderhomes, Inc. facility, where quality elderly care is the standard. Elegant surroundings, wonderful food, and compassionate assistance from a dedicated, caring staff are hallmarks of the Arbor Victoria experience.

Residents have use of graciously appointed living and dining areas, gardens, gazebo, patios – all designed as a welcoming environment for friends and family. Sometimes referred to as a board and care home, Arbor Victoria is a State Licensed Residential Care Facility for Elderly (RCFE). State of the Art security features are tastefully placed to maintain a homelike ambiance. Built specifically as a senior residence, the design is open, welcoming and accessible to wheelchairs, walkers and other supportive accommodations.

At Arbor Victoria, our staff invests time exploring the interests of our residents. Whether it’s on-site discussions, gardening, exercise classes, parties, card games, shopping, trips to the library and theatre, or beach walks, Arbor Victoria provides an active care lifestyle for all of our residents. With the Carlsbad Senior Center located a half mile from our facility, there’s a constant source of social engagement and entertainment available daily.

Comfort and peace of mind are promoted by our attentive staff, lovely environment, and sumptuous home-cooked meals. To ensure the graceful and healthy aging of our residents, the number is limited to six and care is tailored to each individual.

Our mission is to provide a lovely, health-enhancing environment supported by qualified and compassionate assistance. Our family of residents is limited to six individuals to ensure that we maximize the quality of personal service and care. Spacious guest rooms are wheelchair accessible, with private baths and inspiring views of the ocean or the garden. Each room has direct access to the courtyard or the grounds. Furnishings are provided, or if they wish, residents can decorate their rooms with a personal touch.

Home furnishings are elegant and refined. All suites are private, with full baths, emergency call systems, cable TV, WiFi, and private phone access. Residents may furnish their own rooms or utilize Arbor Victoria furniture. All linens are provided.

With an unusually high one-to-three of residents to caregivers, Arbor Victoria (RCFE) is ideal for the discerning senior who may feel lost at a larger facility. At the heart of our individualized care is our dedicated team of knowledgable and caring staff – many having worked at Arbor Victoria for ten or more years.

Residents enjoy delicious home-cooked meals three times a day. Adjusted to each residents’ dietary needs and restrictions, healthful selections will be made for them for a varied and delectable menu weekly. With attractive presentation in the family dining room, every meal is a treat at Arbor Victoria. Fresh fruits and snacks are readily available throughout the day.
