Established in 2000 by Mother Superior Bernard Ibrahim and the Chaldean Sisters Daughters of Mary Immaculate Conception, this community is a freestanding, notforprofit senior residential independent/assisted living community nestled in the hills of Rancho San Diego, open to seniors 65+ of any denomination or background.
Assisted Living is designed for seniors who want an independent lifestyle, however may need assistance in their Activities of Daily Living. Good Samaritan believes that you should be and feel as independent as possible, at peace, knowing that your specific needs are met promptly, with dignity and safety in mind. These needs may include, but are not limited to: daily meal prep and cleanup, laundry, dressing assistance, incontinence care, bathing, administering medications, transportation to and from pertinent appointments, group activities and companionship.
With our wonderful caregivers, medical technicians, and a Licensed Vocational Nurse on staff we are more than happy to offer assistance with administration of medications, assist with the activities of daily living, perform wellness checks, communicate with physicians, and attend to health concerns that may arise as well as supporting each of our residents to lead fulfilling social lives.
Working closely with residents, families, and physicians, we develop a personal plan of care for each resident’s needs, abilities, and wealth of experiences.
Level 1 Independent
- Meal Service – daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including snacks prepared in house by our Chef and kitchen staff
- Daily housekeeping service
- Weekly laundry service
- Medication Management
- Mail Delivery
- Basic Utilities (only excludes optional services such as internet, cable and phone)
- Emergency Response Button
- A daily schedule of activities with the option of two outings a week
Level 2 Assisted
All residents will be evaluated upon admission to see if Level II Care is necessary in each individual case. Level II Care includes, but isn’t limited to the care of residents who have increased functional limitations and/or psychosocial needs requiring not only personal care and supervision, but frequent assistance with activities of daily living.
This includes but is not limited to:
- All services included in Level 1
- Incontinence Care
- Regularly Scheduled Showering Assistance (up to 3x/week)
- Dressing Assistance
- Monitoring every two hours
- Toileting Assistance
- Meal/Activity Reminders
Hospice is a type of care that focuses on the palliation of a chronically ill, terminally ill or seriously ill patient’s pain and symptoms, and attending to their emotional and spiritual needs as they near the end of life. We, at Good Samaritan, work diligently to make all of our Hospice Residents feel comfortable, loved, and provided for at all times, with constant and complete care.

- One complimentary In Room Salon Service per month (includes choice of women's cut, men's clipper cut/beard trim, or manicure w/polish
