Our Residential Care Facilities For the Elderly (RCFE) are licensed by the California State Department of Social Services. Our facilities have Dementia Waiver and Hospice Waiver.

With over 25 years of experience in taking care of seniors, we are dedicated to providing quality care to your loved ones, in our 6-bed, home-like residences. With patience and one-on-one assistance offered by our staff, many residents have been able to improve their quality of life. Our care homes are able to meet each resident’s needs, by offering personalized care plans, at affordable and flexible rates.

Our residents are:

• 60 years of age or older. In certain conditions younger residents are welcome.
• Ambulatory or non ambulatory residents, using canes, walkers, wheelchairs.
• Residents who need continuous non-medical care and supervision.
• Residents who need care because of memory loss (Dementia or Alzheimer’s).
• Residents who need assistance in self administering their medications.
• Male and female residents.
• Residents who need assistance with incontinence.
• Residents who wander. Each facility has a wireless security system in place.
• Residents receiving hospice services.
• Respite residents.

The services provided by our facilities will be those the resident wants and those the resident needs, based on the individual’s pre-admission appraisal, and the needs and services plan:

• Continuous care and supervision.
• Observation for changes in physical, mental,emotional and social functioning.
• Notification to resident’s family, physician of resident’s needs.
• Lodging: furnished, single rooms and double rooms.
• Food services: three nutritious meals daily and snacks, special diets if prescribed by the doctor.
• Assistance with personal activities of daily living: dressing, eating, toileting, bathing, grooming, mobility tasks, other personal care needs.
• Hair stylist and toenail care specialist available upon request.
• Incontinence care.
• Assistance with taking prescribed and over-the-counter medications in accordance with the physician’s orders.
• Bedside care and tray service for minor temporary illness or recovery from surgery.
• Hygiene items of general use, such as soap and toilet paper.
• Laundering personal clothing.
• Clean bed and bath linens weekly, or as often as needed.
• Cleaning of resident’s room.
• Comfortable and suitable bed and bedroom furniture.
• Plan and arrange for transportation to medical and dental appointments.
• Activity program.

• Iris Home Care and Danubius Home Care #1 have fenced swimming pools, accessible to our residents, for recommended therapy, under a therapist’s direct supervision.
