Our amazing cook Carmen is in the home daily preparing and contributing to three home cooked meals with low sodium and sugar. Our kitchen can provide personal dietary preferences upon request. Each meal is nutritious, proportioned, balanced, rich in protein, fiber and calcium. Our cook uses organic vegetables and fruits when available  as well as quality spices, flavoring and ingredients. We include our residents in the growing and harvesting of seasonal fruits and vegetables from our organic garden and orchard. Which often results in 'Cooking With Carmen' experiences around the kitchen table,where our residents participate in coaching, advising, taste testing and assisting with the creation of home prepared meals and desserts. The aroma of fresh baked pies, soups and other meals is enjoyed daily from our kitchen at Happy Memories Senior Care Home.

Throughout the day, we provide our residents assistance with tasks and activities that they need help with. But we encourage them to do as much as they desire and are able to foster a sense of independence and dignity. We want our residents to enjoy life to the fullest and experience joy in their daily life. Providing them help in their daily activities often allows them more energy to do the things they love and enjoy. 

Our residents are like family to us, we are passionate about not only the care and services we offer them, but also the opportunities to reminisce and make new happy memories each day.
