The Eskaton Lodge Gold River neighborhood is complete with tree-lined streets and pathways for casual walks and pet-friendly strolls. The picturesque campus is close to shops, restaurants and medical plazas. Our location, just outside of Sacramento, puts our neighborhood in perfect proximity to local theater, museums and shopping areas like Arden Fair Mall, the Pavilions, the Palladio and the Folsom Premium Outlets. Our team plans outings twice a week to places like shopping centers, special community events or picnics in addition to a full calendar of activities, classes and musical guests.

For residents who are beginning to experience cognitive challenges, Eskaton Village Gold River offers a unique program that allows residents to take advantage of custom programming and staff support.

Our dedicated Dayspring team personalizes programs based on each individual’s history and interests. Dayspring staff are graduates of Eskaton’s acclaimed Memory Care Academy and are taught how to recognize and care for our residents’ unique needs. Residents continue to live in their own apartments and take part in community activities, but with additional support and enrichment. Our program encourages connections between residents as well as helps families understand the challenges that come with memory loss.

Eskaton literally means “Dawn of a New Day” and that is how we’ve modeled our supportive programs for residents who are living with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. Our personalized approach focuses on the seven domains of well-being: identity, connectedness, security, choice, meaning, growth and joy. No resident’s Memory Care regimen is exactly alike, as our team of professionals cater to the needs and goals of each individual resident.

Eskaton Lodge Gold River’s private or semi-private residences are designed to be close to social engagement areas in order to stay connected to the rest of the community. Residents can participate in neighborhood activities, enrichment programs, fitness activities, game nights, music therapy sessions and more that are designed to keep our residents as independent as possible.

Eskaton Gold River offers an opportunity to experience the community’s services and enrichment programs during a short-term stay. Whether a guest is recovering from a hospital stay or a caregiver needs a brief break from their responsibilities, the community welcomes guests to enjoy social experiences, enrichment programs and attentive support staff. Guests can stay in all levels of our residential apartments and receive all of the amenities of full-time residents. This also gives caregivers much-needed respite.
