At Sea Breeze Senior Living, we strive to care for you and your family as we would hope to be taken care of ourselves. We specialize in assisting with the cares of daily living in a relaxed boutique environment.
There are many great large facilities, but they cannot provide the personal care or sense of a home environment a small boutique setting can give. We will do our best to attend to your detailed requests and individual needs by a small staff that knows you by name. We can also notice small health or well being changes in our senior residents that may be overlooked in a large facility. While you choose a bedroom as your ‘own space’ the entire house and patio areas are yours to use and enjoy with your new community, or in a quiet area.
The staff we employ has been carefully selected for training and experience, but also for their kindness and ability to promote an atmosphere of personal service.
As ‘on-site’ licensee and administrator, we will be there to oversee and perform regular evaluations on our caregivers. We plan to interact with our senior residents regularly to assure excellent attention to your individual needs.
Common activities include music, arts and crafts, themed celebrations, exercise programs, memory stimulation, outings to the beautiful La Jolla shoreline, shopping in the village of La Jolla, and use of our putting green.
We are dedicated to providing quality care and services to our residents. We are staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, by trained caregivers who are committed to providing individual care and recognition to each resident. We strive to create a facility that fosters wellness, independence, dignity and quality of life for each resident.
We provide the following basic services:
- 24 hour per day staff, including awake night caregivers
- Resort-like senior living accommodations, including furniture, if needed
- Most rooms have private baths
- Utilities, including air conditioning, basic cable and WiFi
- Assistance with activities of daily living
- Arrangements to meet incidental medical and dental needs
- Daily housekeeping and laundry services
- Assistance with transportation
- Assistance with medications
- Activity program
- 3 nutritious meals per day, plus snacks
- On-going observation and assessments of residents’ conditions and needs
- Communication with family members of such conditions/needs
