Deciding whether or not to enter – or place a loved one in – an assisted living community can be difficult. Fortunately, Walnut Grove Assisted Living offers Respite Care to help easy your mind about that decision.
Respite Care is a wonderful and essential gift for family members and caregivers. It offers the family and/or caregiver some temporary relief from care giving for a specific amount of time.
Respite stays can range 3 to 30 days, with a 3-day minimum. For example, a stay from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. would include sleeping accommodations, assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed, three meals, snacks and our friendly atmosphere.
Admission for Respite Care at any Level of Care requires a Physician's Report, TB or chest x-ray, medication orders and an assessment by the Community Administrator. Forms for your physician to complete and sign are available from Walnut Grove Senior Care Community.
