Mountain View Guest Homes opened its doors in January 1985. Mountain View Centers is providing care to elderly at six residential facilities for elderly in Claremont, Diamond Bar, Covina and Alta Loma communities and to adult at two residential facilities for adult in Montclair and Rialto communities. In 1997, Mountain View Centers opened the brand new Alzheimer’s Center in Claremont specifically built for Alzheimer’s care.

Mountain View Cottages VIII is a fine assisted living community in Montclair, California. It is within remarkable San Bernardino County which is part of the Golden State.

Mountain View Cottages VIII is a residential home for six elderly residents. It provides comfort and security of home, companionship with peers and love from caring staff. Having a small cohesive group in the home environment encourages residents to socialize and participate in the various stimulating activities of daily living. Well-furnished semi private and private rooms meet individual needs. Garden and patio surrounding the homes add to the pleasant home atmosphere.

MOUNTAIN VIEW has been a recognized and respected name in Alzheimer’s care since 1985, celebrating 25 years, specializing in meeting the physical and emotional needs of Alzheimer’s patients and families. Mountain View Centers is providing care to the elderly and Alzheimer’s at residential cottages for elderly in Diamond Bar, Covina and Montclair, Alta Loma locations.

Mountain View Centers and Mountain View Cottages provide the following standard services:

1. Personal Care Mountain View provides 24-hour care and supervision which means staff is around the facility 24 hours a day. It does not mean a staff is with resident on 1:1 basis. Daily assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, escorting, & personal hygiene is offered as needed to encourage each resident to perform at the highest level possible. Incontinence service is provided at additional cost.
2. Meals Mountain View provides 3 delicious, nutritious meals and in between snacks. Special diet prescribed by the physician like low sodium, diabetic or pureed diet is also provided. Meals are served in our elegant dining room. Our staff will feed residents if the resident cannot feed.
3. Activities Mountain View provides creative and stimulating activities designed for residents at various functional levels to increase mental stimulation. Our staff encourages self-expression through stimulating music, dance, exercise, and art programs. Our staff also encourages participation in preferred group activities and offer alternatives to those who decline group activities.
4. Medication Management Mountain View provides monitoring, ordering, and assisting in self administration of medications prescribed by the physician. It also monitors PRN and over the counter medications. All medications are centrally stored in a locked cabinet.
5. Medical and Dental Care Facility manager or nurse monitors medical and dental needs of the resident and will communicate with physician and family. Other medical services like physical therapy, Registered Nurse assessment is offered at the facility by Home Health agency.
6. Housekeeping and Laundry Mountain View provides cleaning services of the resident's room and personal laundry and linens.
7. Hospice Care - Mountain View provides care to all stages of Alzheimer's. Supervision required in early stage, care and managing behavior in the mid stage and hospice care in later stage.
8. Transportation Mountain View plans and arranges for transportation to medical and dental appointments.
