Belhaven Estate

What started out as a dream of helping the elderly enjoy life to the fullest in a home like setting became reality for Dan and Monica Brooks when they opened their first Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) in the Natomas area of Sacramento County. During these years while providing exceptional care and services for their residents; the desire to offer more in the way of a unique living opportunity in a country setting took hold of their hearts. They began looking for a suitable home and property throughout Sacramento, Folsom, Fair Oaks and Orangeval.

On October 3, 2018 Belhaven Estate welcomed visitors in for an Open House Celebration. Obie the community horse greeted guests as they entered the property, while laying hens provided a glimpse into what residents will enjoy living on the Estate. The home has personal touches and charactor crafted into each room and space that encourages, inspires, and provides opportunities to enjoy life to the fullest.

Waking up in the morning or retreating in the evening to a private personalized bedroom can be experienced by all residents at Belhaven Estate. Furnishings are included with the option of bringing personal favorites and decor to make the room 'home'. All of our bedrooms are private with window views of the expansive property or lush landscape.

Whether sitting on the grand porch enjoying a glass of lemonade taking in the sights and sounds of wildlife, or taking a leisure stroll to visit the garden or animals; your days are filled with opportunity to stay in touch with nature.

Staying active, engaged and interested in the simple joys of life through; games, cards, stimulating conversation, community projects, letter writing, relaxation, exercise, aromatherapy, music, art appreciation and more.

While the basics of care are met through our trained staff; attention to the needs and desires of each individual are considered in an effort to create a plan that is tailored and personalized for optimal results.

With an individualized approach to care and services; our hope is to provide what is needed in the manner that is most beneficial and welcome by our residents. When it comes to bathing we offer both a walk in shower and a luxurious walk in tub for soaking in a spa like experience. Meals are prepared in our well equipped kitchen with input and requests from our residents.

A variety of activities are offered to our residents with their input and personal requests taking priority. Our residents literally shape our Life Enriching Activity Programs.
