Our home is located in a sun-drenched neighborhood of Santa Cruz referred to as the Banana Belt. It is a short walk to a library, two churches, a city park and shopping. The grounds are lovingly maintained by the matriarch of our family.
Since 1983 two generations of our family have owned Hanover Guest Home and looked after the care of our residents. Among the Christian values which have been instilled in us is an abiding respect for the elderly. This is the core of the philosophy of award winning care we provide at our home.
With a live-in staff member to complement non live-in staff, we provide 24 hour personalized care for ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents.
We continue to have one of the highest staff to resident ratios among comparable facilities. The culture of care and respect extends to our care-givers who have been with us for an average of 8 years.
