Heritage Court Assisted Living is a spirited assisted living community in Upland, California. It is within appealing San Bernardino County which is part of the Golden State.

Heritage Court is one of 27 healthcare facilities owned by Generations Healthcare. Generations Healthcare began operations in January of 1998 with a single 89-bed skilled nursing facility. Since that time, Generations has grown to 27 facilities comprising 3,100 beds.

When Generations began business, it started with a very simple business strategy: focus on quality and service. Generations has established an excellent reputation in the communities served by our facilities. Generations has built this reputation through a concerted focus on quality and service.

At Heritage Court, we take pride in the independence of the active seniors who live in our community. We are here to offer assistance if needed, and our services are designed to help our residents maintain their health so that they may live as independently as possible.

Heritage Park is a 70-bed skilled nursing facility, focusing primarily on post-hospitalization transitional care. Our greatest success is the ability to help patients recover and discharge back to home or to a lower level of care. We employ our own therapists and operate a large, fully contained therapy unit. Together, with our nursing staff, our goal is to help patients achieve their highest level of functional independence.

We are licensed by both the California State Department of Health and the Federal Government. As such, our staff provides 24-hour-a-day nursing care and supervision to our patients. These services include assistance with activities of daily living (dressing, bathing, grooming, transfers, ambulation, etc.), feeding or assistance with meals, giving of medications, treatments, etc. The level of services provided to an individual patient can vary greatly depending on that patient’s needs.

Licensed nursing staff members are on duty 24 hours a day and work with a team of trained nursing assistants in providing the nursing care for our patients.

Working as a nurse, nursing assistant, housekeeper, or facility employee can be a rewarding job. The dedicated employees at Heritage Court make it possible for us to establish and maintain the high standards for which we strive. Every employee, regardless of their job title, plays an important role within the facility.

At Heritage Court, we strive to hire and retain the most qualified employees available. We verify and maintain all employee licenses. Ongoing training and education classes are provided to employees on a weekly basis to help improve the staff members’ knowledge and training. In-services are run on an ongoing basis, requiring employees to demonstrate that they have a practical and working knowledge of the skills required to perform their duties.

We know from experience that, with the right help, people who need assisted living services can still enjoy our many opportunities for fun and personal growth. We not only customize services for each individual; we make it a point to fully integrate those who require assistance into the Heritage Court lifestyle, so that they don’t feel secluded in their apartment.
