Welcome to Luther Ridge, the only community in Connecticut to offer 3 subsidized living options for seniors under the same roof. Our facility sits on a quiet wooded campus in the center of Connecticut, in Middlesex County.

Luther Ridge is a member of Ascentria Care Alliance, one of the largest human service organizations in New England. With many locations throughout the region, Ascentria Care Alliance serves children, youth and families; persons with developmental disabilities and mental illness; refugees, including unaccompanied refugee minors; and older adults. Through productive collaborations and partnerships, Ascentria Care Alliance creates measurable, positive impacts that strengthen and enrich the communities it serves.

Ascentria Care Alliance empowers people of all backgrounds to rise together and reach beyond life’s challenges. Through its innovative, human-centered care model, Ascentria Care Alliance provides non-medical services and care that support the holistic well-being of its clients as related to their social determinants of health, along with coordinating referrals to clinical/medical healthcare providers and residential facilities. Ascentria Care Alliance helps vulnerable individuals and families in transition to move forward and thrive – physically, intellectually, socially, spiritually and economically.

At Luther Ridge, we meet the physical, social and spiritual needs of our residents with personal care and professional expertise; regardless of financial means.

The newer facility houses one bedroom senior apartments and assisted living apartments which then merge seamlessly with Luther Manor congregate living residences, which opened in 1989. This family of affordable living options brings together a distinguished tradition of personal care with a variety of modern design features, services and activities.

These senior living apartments are subsidized by The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and are appropriate for those who wish to live independently in a secure, comfortable, affordable community.

• Registered nurse (RN) is on site during regular business hours and on call during non-business hours and weekends.
• 24 hour Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) staffing

Assisted living apartments are subsidized by Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) and are appropriate for persons who require some help - including nursing support - with activities of daily living.
