Lake House Assisted Living Facility in Largo, FL is a family owned and operated assisted living facility whose residents are loved and cared for like family. Lake House is situated in a neighborhood community in Largo, Florida. On a small lake that is bordered by single family homes and numerous parks, Lake House provides a homelike environment with the same neighborhood feeling that many of our residents have experienced for most of their lives.
We encourage independence, yet provide assistance that is needed within a loving atmosphere that is similar to a bed and breakfast. Our mission is to make sure that residents receive the quality care, homelike atmosphere, and a fulfilling lifestyle that they deserve, and all for an affordable cost. Lake House offers diverse suite options, so that potential residents have options, to both meet their needs and meet their financial abilities.
At Lake House, we create a personalized plan-of-care that reflects each resident's specific service needs in order to provide the best support and experience possible every day. Our dedicated team provides each of our resident’s daily meals and snacks, housekeeping, laundry, medication management, recreational activities and a variety of additional amenities and services - all with a loving touch.
Lake House does NOT consider you a liability - we treat you and consider you like a member of our family. We take pride in our devoted staff and our goal to provide the highest level of care necessary with our well-trained and caring staff and allow those to continue their lives as they progressively need more care at the Lake House community.
Lake House currently maintains a licensure (Extended Congregate Care) which allows residents to age at home and for the staff to provide a resident a higher level of care unless the resident is in need of continuous nursing care which our staff and home health companies cannot provide. This additional license provides flexibility with assisting residents to another level such, as but not limited to, two person transfer; maximum assist with eating, wheelchair bound, bathing, dressing, etc.
Our Memory Care house continues the Lake House community goal to provide optimal high level of care with the well-trained, caring in a safe and secured setting. We promote residents to continue their lives with our Lake House Community even at their last moments. We work proudly with Hospice Organizations which allow residents to stay comfortable at our community under their care and efforts.
Most Assisted Living Facilities limit the amount of care they provide residents. This can mean facilities can even request the resident to move to another facility which can provide a higher level of care.
Respite care or temporary stays are available to assist the short-stay resident to improve health status so that he/she can return home or to give an at-home caregiver a needed rest.
Whether it is a scheduled vacation or sudden illness to the at-home caregiver, Lake House can be there to care for you or your loved one during that time.
We accept the short-stay resident for stays from 3 days to 90 days, after which a respite care resident may be considered a permanent resident.
