Cinnamon Cove is an exquisite assisted living community in New Port Richey, Florida. It is within gorgeous Pasco County which is part of the Sunshine State.
Staff members pass background screening, TB testing, fingerprinting and a physical before they are hired. All are trained in CPR, First Aid, Infectious Disease control, Blood borne pathogens, Resident's rights,
Safe food handling, DNR, Fall risk, Emergency and Elopement procedures.
Since medication management is the number one reason people need assisted living, EVERY staff member is certified to assist with medication self-administration.
Both owners are Certified Administrators. We honor DNR (Do not resuscitate) orders, but have an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) which the staff is trained on.
It is comforting to know that if an emergency arises, help is only minutes away. Response time for a 911 call is typically under 5 minutes.
Activities are scheduled and offered on a daily basis.
Residents also have Resident Council Meetings where they make suggestions to the owners and participate in the scheduling of the activities. They also participate in composing the menu.
Historic downtown New Port Richey, Sims Park, the Library and the Cotee River are an easy walk from the facility and can be enjoyed by the Residents and their families.
Menus are designed by a licensed dietician to ensure our residents' nutritional needs are met.
3 meals and 2 snacks are served daily.
Substitutions from the menu can be made & special menus for special occasions are commonplace.
Bread is baked on the premises, as well as home baked goodies for snack time.
Drinks, coffee and fruit are always available at the snack bar.
The cook and Administrator are “ServSafe” certified to ensure compliance with food preparation & handling standards.
