Bayou Gardens is a community that was built in 1993 as an assisted living facility with secured access for Memory Care. Some of the conveniences you will appreciate are:

• Located within Palm Harbor's residential setting but close to parks, malls, shopping and hospitals. Walking distance to Walgreens and Starbucks.
• Directly across from the Palm Harbor Library.
• Located at Nebraska Avenue and US 19, in north Pinellas county, providing excellent access to Clearwater, St. Petersburg and Tampa, including airports.
• Located outside of flood / hurricane evacuation zone.

Residents have the option of choosing private or semi-private rooms. Each room has access to its own bathroom. The entire building is climate controlled and each room has supplemental air so that residents may determine what personal temperature settings they find most comfortable. Amenities within our community include:

• Fully furnished rooms are available although Bayou Gardens encourages residents to bring furniture if desired. This is because we want you to customize your room as you would your home.
• Bright, airy and spacious common areas including two entertainment centers with generous seating.
• Daily activities and monthly events.
• Community library of games and books.
• Several Living Room and Sitting Areas, Dining Room and Full Service Kitchen. Inviting Covered Front Porch and Large Screened Back Patio to enjoy the beautiful Florida weather!
• Communal phone access is included. Long distance included if using the communal phone.
• Cable and private phone are available as an option in private and semi-private rooms.
• Three delicious meals served daily plus snacks prepared under licensed dietitian guidelines.
• Access to third party relationships at Bayou Gardens with visiting Physician, Podiatrist, Physical Therapy and Rehab professionals, Beautician and Barber.
• Housekeeping and laundry services included.
• Staffed with licensed Certified Nurse Assistants and trained caregivers to provide our residents with the assistance they need. Our caring team is always laughing, singing and loves to have fun!
• Large screened in Patio Area to enjoy the beautiful Florida weather.
• Outside fenced in yard available for those that like to garden.
• Small, friendly lap dogs are often around to enrich the home.
