Services
- Services designed to meet the needs of each resident are provided 24 hours by professional and experienced staff, carefully screened, who receives ongoing education, is CPR certified and trained in First Aid and AED
- Highest caregiver to patient ratio of one caregiver to every 3 patients
- Home cooked meals always accommodate special diets and personal taste or preference
- Menus are prepared by a Florida Registered Dietitian to provide a balanced healthy diet and daily nutrition requirements. Three meals per day and snacks are included in the rent
- Daily housekeeping and personal laundry, as well as weekly linen change services are provided at no additional cost
- Assistance with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene
- We provide assistance with transfers and ambulation, as well as medication supervision (medication is centrally looked and dispensed by trained personnel)
- RN on-call 24 hour, monthly in-house physician visits. Our house physician accepts some HMO insurances and Medicare. Also there are regular podiatrist, optometrist, psychologist visits
- Laboratory services, EKGs, X-Rays, home health services (RN and LPNs, physical, occupational and speech therapists, social workers) are arranged as authorized by the resident's health insurance and physician orders
- Stimulating activities are tailored for each resident based on physical, emotional and psychological abilities and needs. A minimum of 12 hours per week of activities are provided as per state regulations(bingo, card games, aerobic and chair exercises, trivia games, sing-a-long, fun with hair and nails, movie night, arts and crafts and more)
- Cable service in every room and telephone available for local and nationwide calls at no additional charge. Personal phone line or internet services require additional fees
- Transportation services are provided at additional cost
- Hairdresser/Barber services are provided in-house, once a month, at no additional cost
- Toiletries, incontinence supplies and incontinence care are also provided at no extra cost
Specialized Services
- Respite Care or Day Care we are not offering respite care or day care services
- Hospice care: Our existing residents, that had a decline in physical and/or mental condition will be able to benefit from hospice services and remain in our facility
- Diabetic Care: We DO NOT accept insulin dependent diabetics unless they have a home health company administering the insulin or the family hired a licensed nurse who comes to administer insulin
- Dementia/Alzheimer's Care: We do accept residents suffering from dementia. Our caregivers are trained and certified to care for residents with dementia/Alzheimer's, and our assisted living facilities present a safe and secure environment
Accommodations
- Room Features: At Phoenix Senior Living, all rooms are on the ground floor and each facility has six beds availability in both private and semi-private rooms that host comfortable furnishings and pleasant surroundings. Each room has cable TV at no additional cost. If you desire, you can personalize your space with your own furniture and decorations. Our shower rooms have the walk-in/wheel-in feature making them easily accessible to physically incapacitated residents.
- Outdoors: Each facility has a spacious screened patio with swimming pool view, encouraging year-round enjoyment of warm and sunny Florida weather.
- Security: Security is a top priority at Phoenix Senior Living with smoke detectors, alarm system, fire sprinklers and door alarms.
