Adult Family Care Homes are licensed through the Agency for Health Care Administration. The person who holds the license must reside in the home. We provide a family type living arrangement with up to five aged or disabled residents in the our home. With family meals and regular actvities, it's like having grandma & grandpa at home with their extended family. As a AFCH's we have trained staff to assist with the daily needs such as preparing meals, housekeeping, dressing, and toileting. They aslo help with medications and transportation to doctor appointments, along with regular outings. In order to be licensed through AHCA one must go through training and pass satisfactory inspections such as sanitation and fire safety. Loved ones receive one on one personalized care. They won't get lost in the shuffle.
