Gateway Gardens is the newest senior living community in the Bethlehem, Barrow County and Highway 316 corridor area. We are an Assisted Living and Memory Care community that provides 37 oversized suites to meet every lifestyle. This beautiful and inviting facility offers expansive common areas, with dining rooms, sunrooms, patios, walking paths, and a level of interior finish of the highest quality.

Everything at Gateway Gardens is carefully planned to meet our residents needs. Our goal is to make our residents feel as comfortable, safe, and secure, as if they were at home with family. Our dedicated and trained caregivers are available 24/7 to provide services including delicious home-cooked meals, enriching social and wellness programs, and personal care assistance, along with housekeeping and laundry services. Our memory care services are part of a specialized program designed to create an environment of success through meaningful and enriching activities for individuals experiencing memory loss typically not associated with the normal aging process. By promoting a more active lifestyle, our residents experience a “greater quality of life”. This is designed to build on the relationships between caregivers and residents in our specialized memory care neighborhood. Small group or one-on-one activities are designed to engage residents throughout the day.

Everyone needs a break, and Gateway Gardens is pleased to offer our community Short Term Stays also referred to as Respite Care. Respite care is an important part of the overall support that families may need to keep their senior family member at home. This allows the home caregiver to take a break from the daily challenges of caring for their loved one with special needs.

The Short Term Stay program provides an option for overnight accommodations for a few days or a few weeks, allowing caregivers to take an extended break or vacation while the person with dementia stays in a supervised, safe environment.

Our Short Term Stay program is also available for those needing assisted living, which allows for seniors to stay a few days or a few weeks, and is perfect for the senior that may be well enough to leave the hospital or physical therapy, but perhaps not quite well enough to take care of themselves at home, usually following an illness or an operation. Meals are provided, as well as medication management, 24 hour care staff, housekeeping, and laundry services.
