QHC Villa Cottages, LLC is an assisted living center designed to provide necessary services while allowing as much independence to our residents as their health permits. We place emphasis on our residents’ abilities rather than their limitations. We have a dementia wing that is monitored by staff 24 hours a day and are next door to our sister facility, QHC Fort Dodge Villa, LLC, a full service skilled nursing home.
Villa Cottages is located at 925 Martin Luther King Drive, Fort Dodge IA 50501. Fort Dodge can trace its beginnings back to the fort built by the US Army in 1850 at the junction of the Des Moines River and Lizard Creek. Fort Dodge Country Club has one of the best golf courses in Iowa and Oleson Park has a lovely band shell that hosts the Karl King Band and is on the National Register of Historic places. Villa Cottages offers private apartments. They are unfurnished and residents are encouraged to bring their own furnishings and personal belongings to make it feel like home. We offer 24 hour assistance for services such as bathing, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, and medication administration. We serve three meals daily in our dining room and have sitting areas and an enclosed courtyard for resident use.
