what makes a cottage a cottage it's really a unique product it's for that buyer who's looking for a bit more square footage and a bit more privacy but still wants to be able to enjoy all of the amenities that a continuing care retirement community has to offer the cottage offers beautiful finishes such as granite countertops undermount sink updated satin nickel lighting throughout the home they have a den they have two bedrooms in addition a beautiful spacious living room and a large eat-in kitchen and very importantly they have a garage and an outdoor patio as well what really makes a cottage unique is this there's not only is there no outside maintenance there's no inside maintenance so let's say the furnace breaks ok or the garbage disposals not working or a resident needs a bulk change in the ceiling they just call maintenance so they don't have to worry about the inside or the outside so it's truly maintenance free living we allow custom modifications so let's say a client comes in and they say you know what Patti I really want hardwood flooring throughout this whole place we can do that I had a resident who came in who wanted to have the patio screened in so we priced that out for them so if someone wants to do something to that effect I had someone who wanted to add a direct vent fireplace and we priced out for that so if they want custom changes we can also do that you
