We have deep roots in the surrounding village and love to incorporate our central location in Buffalo Grove into our daily activities schedule . Residents love the close bonds they have formed with student volunteers from Stevenson High School. We also host a highly-anticipated inter-generational program quarterly, in partnership with Vernon Area Public Library, where children ages one to twelve visit the community; our residents read to the younger children, and the older children practice reading aloud to our seniors.
When you visit us, you may encounter our residents enjoying a meal prepared by our culinary team (such as our community favorites: stuffed green peppers, barbecue beef brisket, and fresh crab cakes) or participating in one of our many activities designed to enrich the mind, body, and spirit.
