Heritage Woods opened in April 2011 and is managed by Gardant Management Solutions, the largest provider of affordable assisted living in Illinois.

The building was developed on property adjacent to Cougill Senior Living Apartments, which is also owned by Yost Management

Residents have the opportunity to:

Live in a private apartment. Each of the apartments features a kitchenette, spacious bathroom and emergency alert system.
Receive personal assistance and help with medications. Certified staff are on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Support services, such as three daily meals, housekeeping and laundry are also included.
Enjoy the companionship of friends and neighbors and participate in social and recreational activities.

Our two-story building houses 68 studio and one-bedroom apartments, each with its own kitchenette, private bathroom with shower, and emergency response system. Community areas include an activity room, beauty/barber shop, convenience store, dining room, exercise room, library, patio and television lounge.

The emphasis at Heritage Woods of Charleston is on providing residents with the dignity they deserve and on helping each resident maintain as much independence as possible for as long as possible.
