Deer Path of Huntley houses 128 private studio and one-bedroom apartments, each with its own kitchenette; full bathroom, individually controlled heating and air conditioning unit and an emergency alert system. Deer Path also features community areas for residents to enjoy, including a spacious dining room, private dining area, café; pub and billiards room, activity, game and recreation room, library, fitness center, physical therapy room, theater, patio and an outdoor walking and wheelchair path.
Our community sits on more than five acres on property on Regency Parkway, west of Hwy. 47, in Huntley, Illinois. Huntley, which is known as the “Friendly Village with Country Charm,” is just north of Interstate 90 in northern Kane/southern McHenry Counties.
Help with medications and assistance with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming and moore, are included in the surprisingly affordable monthly fee. Three restaurant-style meals a day, plus snacks, housekeeping, laundry, health monitoring, nursing assessment and physician communication services are among the other services offered at Deer Path.
Certified nursing assistants are on duty around-the-clock to provide the personal assistance residents need. They work under the direction of the community’s licensed nursing staff.
A financial assistance program is available for those who do not have the financial resources to afford the monthly fee. Adults with physical disabilities who are on Medicaid or who only receive Social Security benefits can qualify for residency.
