A part of the Bloomington-Normal community, Heritage Health in Normal, IL provides a continuum of nursing home care for all levels of need. Affiliated with both Adelaide Apartments and Evergreen Place Assisted Living, Heritage Health - Normal provides both Legacy Care (Specialized Alzheimer's Services) and quality long-term and intermediate nursing care through on-site physical, occupational, and speech therapies.
Our facility has also built trusting relationships with Heartland Community College and the Mennonite School of Nursing, gaining the latest information on geriatric nursing from the students. We also have Art and Music Therapy Internists from Illinois State University working with our residents. Our facility has many community relationships that provide continuing individual care for our nursing home residents. We have 141 beds available.
Individual care also extends to Heritage Health's Legacy Care Unit, which caters to the special needs of Alzheimer's patients. Legacy Care includes only a small number of residents - large enough to feel like a community, but small enough to allow for individual attention.

when i started at heritage i started out as a cna and worked my way through nursing school I decided to stay at Heritage after I received my nursing license because of the great environment and the great residence the residents are my favorite part of coming to Heritage every day to work I feel like they're my friends and my family our resident who I've become very close with he comes and talks to me every day and for his birthday I got him a present and it really touched his heart he's really excited and made his day making a difference in my residence lives is one of the best things about working at heritage
