Residents knit scarves, hats, and mittens for the local women’s shelter during the cold Midwestern winters; we’re involved in the workforce program with students from Carl Sandburg High School and Stagg High School; and we also host a local musician each Saturday, who entertains residents and families with classic songs and resident requests.
