We strive to provide activities to keep our residents active and engaged in the community. We’ve created an atmosphere and a facility conducive to comfort, care, and companionship.
Every section, or neighborhood, at Avita Rolling Hills represents an area of Wichita and is decorated as such. Upon arrival you receive a welcome packet which includes your resident handbook and activities calendar to lift you up and provide you with an array of personal enrichment. Feel free to make your apartment your home. Please bring in personal decorations and furniture to personalize your space and become part of our family.
When you move in you will again be greeted by the RN who met with you for your initial assessment. They will assist you to your room and the finishing touches will be made including medications and check in. You are welcomed your first day with a complementary meal for you and your loved ones. They may also make arrangements to stay in our lavish guest room if they are traveling from out of town.
Avita Assisted Living and Memory Care at Rolling Hills is operated with 24 hour nursing staff, including LPNs, CMAs and CNAs. There is a Registered Nurse on-call 24/7. The Medical Director and PA are available for call and on site.
Rehab Care provides on-site personal therapy such as: physical, occupational and speech therapy. Avita has the latest technology in electronic charting, medication administration, and personal records. The security helps to provide a sense of peace. The community is monitored by security cameras and the doors are locked after hours.
Additional medical appointments such as podiatry and others can be brought into the building to make care seamless and simple.

From there, we create a menu, based on their expectations. One concept that has been missed by many Assisted living homes is one simple concept, we are guest in their home. We never do what is convenient for us. Every day is a new day at Avita and that is another opportunity to listen and to exceed expectations.
How our menu exceeds expectations is one simple concept. Residents have asked for a steak choice every day. We put a 31 day aged rib eye and a 31 day aged filet on the menu. Our residents asked for a fish choice daily, so we added salmon, tilapia, shrimp and homemade crab cakes. What is world class? Listening, not convenience for us, and exceeding expectations. That is our definition of being world class.
Rehab Care provides on-site personal therapy. The professional staff consists of certified physical therapists who are dedicated to applying innovative clinical pathways that ensure each patient receives the utmost in care, on a personalized level.
Our dedicated staff of therapists, and their support team, will work with you to improve the areas that will make the most difference in your life. Each residents is different and it is our goal to create a plan that fits your needs and will help get you back to the life you deserve to live.
