At Fairview Place, we plan activities and wellness programs that support a person's overall health and fitness. Wellness is a framework that can be used to help us balance our growth and to maintain our level of activity. At Fairview Place we have a wellness room to help promote and encourage daily activity for all of our clients. Fairview Place has partnered up with the National Institute of Aging's 'Go4Life' campaign which encourages all seniors to stay active and fit.
Seniors can benefit tremendously from regular exercise. The Centers for Disease Control reports that seniors have even more to gain than younger people by becoming more active because they are at higher risk for the health problems that physical activity can prevent.
Fairview Place provides an elegant and secure living environment with several apartment sizes ranging from spacious studios and alcoves, to one and two bedrooms. The building is monitored 24 hours a day and is equipped with a security system. Each suite has a lockable door, private bath, kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave, large walk-in closet, thermostat control, locked security drawer, and emergency call system. Telephone service needs to be arranged by the client or family. Your own furniture and special touches will make your private space even more personal. Our attentive and professional staff offers wellness monitoring and other services based on your individual needs.
Family and friends will love to visit you in your private apartment, one of the beautifully appointed common areas, or outdoors by one of the fountains in the enclosed, landscaped courtyard. There is plenty of room available for entertaining special guests or getting together with neighbors to celebrate special occasions. Our cooks prepare a variety of fresh and delicious meals and snacks each day, served in our elegant dining room, or in your own apartment, if you desire. Meals are served restaurant style allowing clients to have choices in their meals.
Additional features at Fairview Place include an activity area with card tables, exercise room, large screen television and sitting area, enclosed courtyard, several sitting areas, library and a full-service beauty salon. In addition to complimentary transportation to doctor's offices, transportation to sightseeing, shopping or cultural events is available.
