Personal Care is affectionately known to us as the step between Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing. This is a service that we find many people don’t even know exists. At the Personal Care level, a resident still has to be able to independently get around even with the assistance of a walker or wheelchair. However, all medications are kept in a locked medication cart and administered to residents per their Physician’s orders with assistance from staff with taking those medications. We also provide all the services as the Assisted Living such as laundry, housekeeping, 24 hour staffing, and meal services.
Assisted Living at Lewis Manor offers independent living with 24 hour staff. We are able to provide laundry, housekeeping, and meal services in addition to medication reminders. This is the facility for those who are just not quite comfortable staying at home by themselves anymore but still are very capable of doing many things for themselves.
The rooms in our facility are much larger and set up in an “apartment” style with indoor and outdoor exits for each room allowing for a more home/independant feel.
Lewis Manor Independent Living is available on the campus as well. No matter what stage of life you are in, Lewis Manor has the answer. These perfectly sized apartments all have a back porch, ample parking, and beautiful views of Franklin’s farmland.
At Lewis Manor we provide daily activities such as Bingo and Rook; for all our residents to encourage socialization and friendships. We also offer several exercise classes and walking adventures for our residents to keep them moving! With spacious hallways, cozy living areas, and welcoming dining rooms, you will always find yourself wanting to stay just a little longer.
