Villa Maria Retirement Center opened its doors in October 1994. Located between Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church, Monsignor DeBlanc Family Life Community Center and Our Lady Queen of Heaven School, Villa Maria provides loving care and security to seniors. From its inception, Villa Maria has been meticulously designed and maintained to be a complete community with all the services and extras our residents desire and need most. The mission of Villa Maria is consistent with the philosophy of our founding pastor and first Board of Directors President, Msgr. Irving DeBlanc. Villa Maria is an integral part of his vision to provide for the spiritual, physical, and educational needs of our brothers and sisters in Christ, across all ages. Villa Maria is committed to loving and serving seniors by nurturing mind, body and spirit.
Villa Maria offers a gracious retirement lifestyle for active seniors who make independence, activity and peace of mind a priority in their lives. As a resident of Villa Maria, you will enjoy the privacy of an expertly designed apartment, enhanced by a beautifully planned community.
Retirement should be a time to put aside some responsibilities and devote your energy to those activities you truly enjoy. The caring staff at Villa Maria will relieve you from such daily tasks as housekeeping, yard work, home repairs and meal preparation. This means more time for special outings with your grandchildren, enjoying time with family or shopping with friends. If travel is your idea of a carefree retirement, you can leave your home without worry as Villa Maria’s caring staff keeps a watchful eye on the community 24 hours a day.
Independent and Assisted Living accommodations at Villa Maria strive to promote a quality of life with maximum independence while preserving the dignity and individuality of each resident. Our assisted living program is designed to offer care to those who need it for daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, medication monitoring or dining. Our residents and their loved ones can be assured that our staff provides personal and professional care 24 hours a day. Villa Maria’s attentive and personal service ensures that our residents enjoy meaningful life experiences in a safe, beautiful and caring community.
We take a loving, holistic approach to senior care and tend not only to the mind and body of our residents. We address their individual spiritual needs as well with the help of our community’s spiritual leaders, including Catholic priests, deacons, pastoral care assistants, Eucharistic ministers, and Protestant clergy. Local parish and school members often participate in social and volunteer activities, providing an additional link for residents with their surrounding community. Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church is conveniently located across the street and offers daily Masses. Mass is offered at Villa Maria during the week and Sunday mornings. Protestant services are offered weekly.
As it is our mission is to provide for all the needs of our residents, we understand that nothing is more important in the quest to stay healthy than staying strong and active. We offer free membership to the Family Life Community Center (FLCC) for all our residents. Located next door to our facility, the FLCC has exercise rooms with free weights and exercise equipment, a gymnasium, elevated walking track, treadmills, and elliptical machines. It also offers a full aquatic center with year-round heated Olympic pool, whirlpool baths, and saunas. Individual and group classes are available to meet the varied physical strengths and interests of our residents.
