Always Caring is an excellent assisted living community in Columbia, Maryland. It is within radiant Howard County which is part of the Old Line State.

We believe the needs of our residents and their families come first. Assisted Living Care

Assisted living care offers seniors daily assistance but do not require the intensive level of care offered in a hospital or nursing home. Assisted living offers a helping hand with day-to-day tasks, including dressing, bathing, personal grooming, dining and medication monitoring.

Long Term Care

We offer long term geriatric care for those residents who can no longer care for themselves. We provide peaceful and comfortable home like setting, with all the necessary services your loved one requires for their well-being.

Short Term Respite Care

We offer short term respite care for those caregivers and families that require a break from the stresses and strains of caring for their loved ones.

Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care

We provide residential dementia and Alzheimer’s care programs designed to help our elderly residents maintain a high level of self-esteem and dignity through activities in a secure, homelike setting.

Hospice Care

We provide a comfortable and nurturing setting for those going through the dying process, coordinating with local hospice care, to serve the specific needs of our residents and their families.

Rehabilitation Care

We coordinate rehabilitation programs with local hospitals and rehab centers to help our residents achieve the maximum level of independence possible.

Nursing Care

We provide skilled in-house nursing supervision, giving our residents the necessary specialized care they require.

Our residents enjoy a calm and stable environment, with daily meals and activities. The structured routine helps people with memory loss to feel secure, while our social activities give purpose and a sense of well-being. Residents further enjoy regular outings to restaurants, parks, and shopping. In-home activities include bingo, memory enhancing games, old time movies and birthday celebrations.  

We are a Maryland state licensed assisted living health care program. We offer 24 hour emergency response and professional nursing care, as well as medication management, dementia and geriatric care.
