Assisted Living at Hawkins Gate is an energetic assisted living community in La Plata, Maryland. It is within colorful Charles County which is part of the Old Line State.
Assisted Living at Hawkins Gate LLC was established in 2011 as an alternative to large institutionalized facilities. Our main focus is on promoting health and wellness by providing person-centered care and service in a comfortable, home environment.
We believe a smaller environment is better when providing care and service. Our home has 5 residents allowing us to provide each person with the individualized attention they deserve.
We are able to care for individuals with a variety of health needs including individuals with mild to moderate dementia.
Assisted living is for seniors and the disabled who value their independence, but need some assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and medication administration. In addition provide all household chores such as laundry, cooking, and cleaning.
We provide a caring, safe and secure community where seniors and the disabled can live a relatively independent lifestyle but also receive assistance with certain daily activities. These activities may include bathing, dressing, medication administration, and more. Our trained resident aides are on hand to help our residents perform these tasks safely, while still respecting their independence.
Care and services are individualized to meet the residents needs. An assessment is done by the residents doctor prior to moving in. Each resident receives a service plan specific to their individual needs. In addition to that plan, we can assist with:
