Elderwood of Hinckley is a wonderful assisted living community in Hinckley, Minnesota. It is within astounding Pine County which is part of the North Star State.
The Elderwood of Hinckley operates to provide housing with services for residents that meet criteria of stay. We offer a variety of different care levels from independent living capabilities to end of the life and hospice cares. Our intentions are to allow residents to make this their last move and be able to make this their second home.
Elderwood of Hinckley specializes in meeting the needs of the 55 and older community and members with memory loss. We offer specialized and quality care, while our facility gives a “home-like” atmosphere. We also offer private rooms for our residents and have Full Time RN on Staff.
Our staff is available 24 hours a day to assist in your daily needs, such as dressing, bathing, medication set up and administration, making appointments or arranging transportation and much more. We prepare and serve three hot home cooked meals daily, along with a variety of snacks through out the day.
We have adapted our facility to be able to care for residents that need assistance with dressing, grooming, med management, diabetic cares, transfers of 1 to 2 staff, EZ stands, Hoyer lifts and much more.
We do provide memory care for those who have early or mild to moderate dementia or Alzheimer needs.

At Elderwood of Hinckley, rooms come in a variety of options; there are studio rooms, rooms with kitchenettes, rooms with showers and rooms that are semi-private for a more intimate environment.
Each resident’s room is a home-like atmosphere where families and residents are encouraged to decorate with personal belongings that provide familiar memories. Daily activities and scheduled events are offered to help residents stay active and involved in the community. There are also community living areas that provide ample opportunity to socialize with friends and family.
We pride ourselves in being able to keep a resident comfortable in their new home environment through end of life.
Along with this we also have a number of activities through the day including: Bingo, crafts, gardening, scenic tours, ethnic food tasting, exercises and much more.
