Our campus is comprised of Kenyon Sunset Home which offers Skilled Nursing, for both long term needs and acute care stays, Gunderson Gardens Assisted Living, & Gunderson Suites Memory Care in an assisted living setting.
At Kenyon Sunset Home we are able to provide care for those in need of long term placement, short term rehab following an accident or surgery, or short term respite care.
We are a small close knit 21 bed facility where friendships are easily made. We provide all our residents with a multidisciplinary team of highly skilled nurses, rehabilitation specialists, and support professionals which are available twenty-four hours a day.
Our team works in partnership with physicians to develop the most comprehensive and overall person centered care plan possible. Along with top quality physical care, we offer are a variety of recreational activities, spiritual events, and social programs that also provide the highest level of emotional, mental, and spiritual skilled nursing care possible.
No two people are alike, and this is why at Gunderson Gardens Apartments & Rose Wing, our assisted living options are designed around the concept of choice.
You choose the type of accommodations and array of services that fit your needs. We offer 15 Apartments, comprised of both 1 & 2 bedrooms, as well as 12 simplified units in the Rose Wing.
Amenities: A noon meal for those in the Apartments & 3 meals a day for those in the Rose Wing, heat, air conditioning, water and sewer, garbage and recycling, use of laundry facilities, resident computer and internet access, TV and cable, use and access to the facility library, activity rooms and garden spaces.
Gunderson Suites provides a safe, homelike atmosphere for those with early-mid dementia & other memory related conditions. It is an intimate environment with around-the-clock staff that have been specially trained to relate to and work with those living with memory issues.
Gunderson Suites is comprised of 8 private units, and is located within our Assisted Living. We offer 2 service packages to best meet your loved ones needs.
Kenyon Senior Living has partnered with RehabCare to provide not only our campus, but the entire community & surrounding area with one of the best therapy programs around by offering both inpatient and outpatient skilled services. We offer Occupational, Physical & Speech Therapies. Our team has a combined experience of over 105 years in their fields!
We offer all private rooms at Kenyon Sunset Home. Gunderson Gardens is comprised of studio, 1 bedroom & 2 bedroom apartments. Gunderson Suites Memory Care provides private rooms in a congregate living setting.
At Kenyon Sunset Home we have medical professionals from Mayo Clinic, Allina Clinic & Olmsted Medical Center that perform regular rounds to see residents for their care. Gunderson Gardens is conveniently attached to Mayo Clinic Health Systems: Kenyon Clinic. Residents of Gunderson Gardens & Gunderson Suites are able to be seen by providers at the Clinic without ever needing to step a foot outside.
