Heart to Home is an alternative to traditional nursing home and assisted living facilities. Unlike large institutional facilities which may house as many as 100 residents, our homes house only 6-7 residents which allows us to focus on caring for each person on an individual basis. We like to refer to our homes as "small sanctuaries" which were purposefully designed to care for our beloved elders who may be experiencing progressive life limiting conditions and/or dementia.
When you visit Heart to Home you will immediately experience the difference in staffing ratios. Each of our homes has one nursing assistant to three residents (1:3) during the day and evening and one nursing assistant to six residents during the overnight. In addition we have oversight and hands-on management from a team of registered nurses and supporting managers. On many days, you will find an equal number of staff to residents in our homes. Our outstanding staff ratios are a hallmark of Heart to Home which allows us to care for each person on an individual basis. The results?
