BeeHive assisted living all began in 1987. In response to a very limited number of quality care facilities, BeeHive Homes was originally built as a means to provide quality care in a personalized, home-like surrounding.
This innovative format was developed around the concept that the elderly deserve a clean, comfortable family setting at an affordable price when they reach that point in life when assisted living care is needed. Many facilities available at that time not only failed to provide a pleasant atmosphere but required rates that were out of reach for the majority of the elderly and their families. It didn't take long to realize that many were searching for elderly care services similar to those being offered by BeeHive Homes. During the construction phase of the first BeeHive assisted living home, potential residents showed so much interest that several of them were ready to move in as soon as it was completed.
The level of interest for exceptional elderly care has continued unabated, and the demand is stronger than ever.

BeeHive Homes of Moorhead is dedicated to loving care and security for you and your loved one. We have an open door policy, so feel free to stop by anytime. A BeeHive Home is not a facility it is the HOME of the residents.
Dietitian-approved meals. We offer three restaurant quality, dietitian-approved meals and snacks that are served in a home-style dining room.
Daily activities. Each home has four hours of daily activity to assist with keeping the body and the mind active with bingo, dominos, card games, arts and crafts, and range of motion exercises.
Meeting needs. Our staff is here to meet the needs of all the residents including providing daily housekeeping, tending to laundry, scheduling appointments, arranging transportation, offering medication assistance, and monitoring general health.
Private room and bath. Our home has private rooms with three-quarter baths in each room, and our spacious rooms have cable/satellite TV.
Helping hands. We assist with feeding and personal care as needed.
Registered nurse on-call. We have an on-call consulting Registered Nurse available as needed and an emergency call system.
