Families and professionals are demanding care settings where the value and dignity of each person are respected; where feelings and individual perspectives are considered. When person -centered care is the focus of their everyday life, self-determination and purposeful living become the routine for each individual.

Video surveillance inside and outside the home provides an added level of comfort for residents and families. A sturdy, decorative fence allows for safe and secure backyard activities.

Caregivers at Glenfield will be highly trained in cutting-edge, evidence-based behavioral interventions to support those living with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

All caregivers receive Alzheimer’s and dementia best care practice training and are required to receive on-going training on a regular basis.

An Executive Director and Nursing Coordinator provide on-going education, training and emotional support to staff, residents, and family. Certified nursing assistants (CNA/Level 1 Med Tech) are present and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Glenfield is barrier-free. Residents are encouraged to move throughout the home - their home - to visit with staff or other residents. Wherever they choose to spend their time, they will find an atmosphere of independence and quality living. The environment allows individuals to live and function at their peak abilities and find an exceptional quality of life
