it's a slow process you want to you know we wanted to be sure we handled everything right with her so that you she did understand that we was all coming from a good place and strictly for her and then that it was her decision I know they thought they were doing what was best for me but I wasn't ready in the and the thing that made me ready was I was going out every morning watering my flowers and weed and doing all that and it was getting hot and it was it was getting to be too much it's after she said she was ready we went looked at a couple places and in no way did they compare in terms of the actual unit the light in the unit the positive feel of the environment in which she would be staying it was a totally different feel than mccrite I said some other things that you need to think about you need to think about you know how much you like to see your grandkids and is it are these places the type of environment that your grandkids are going to truly want to spend some time with it just competed there's so many positives about this environment compared to the others that you want to have the thing that was holding their back was she didn't she thought it was too fancy too nice of a place for her and she wouldn't fit in with the people the current residence i did move and I come over and I found that this is family and they treat you like family and people are nice and if you wanted to participate the things you do the it's family-owned which I like and I know them all and they treat you like they know your name that's the other thing you know that's a good point when we were looking at the other facilities are a corporate owned and they had that feel to add a feel of being corporate on and the feel when you walked in here was was totally different than that oh it is i mean you walk in to cry and its first of all it's lovely and just you know you're the physical appearance of it is so beautiful and then you get a very inviting warm and welcoming feeling I feel that that comes from the staff they the staff they don't you have no idea it's a business or a job for them it is their passion and that is what makes it such a fabulous place you think that it is so nice and I think the community not only the people that live here and the families that it touches but the community I feel that we are all very blessed to have mccry in our community and I hadn't had known if anything about my rights until late chumki delivered I could she says every week be awesome I want to live here you

I lived in two other communities senior communities before moving to McCreight Plaza the first community I lived in was more of a resort type we were charged for three meals a day and I don't eat that much and i felt like i was wasting my money really I then moved to just an apartment building there for retirees well that was a mistake because I was bored there was nothing it seemed like there were no activities really not much to do and I found McCreight and when I came over here I was I fell in love with the place to begin with it was so beautiful we have automatically get our breakfast included in the rent but if we don't wish to it's our choice whether we want to have dinner or lunch here and we can if we like but you don't have to and you are not charged for anything that you don't use I was delighted when I found out how many activities social activities they had it just it amazed me and I was so happy and I take part in most all of but one of my favorite activities is singing I joined the choir and I don't have a very good voice so I have another friend Eve and her voice she has a lovely voice wonderful so I stand next to her when we sing and I'm hoping that the people will think we'll hear her and think it's me singing you you
