Country Aire Retirement Center is a 66-bed Skilled Nursing Facility that has been a part of the Raytown community since 1989. We believe that each resident deserves the best possible care delivered with a personal touch from our team of community based health-care professionals. Many of whom have been with Edgewood for years. We believe that each resident should receive the care level appropriate to his or her individual and changing needs. Whether it is an occasional helping hand or complete skilled nursing care, we strive to help residents achieve and maintain their personal independence. Country Aire Retirement Center offer a 20 bed Rehabilitation and Wellness Center with all private rooms, as well as, a 46 bed extended care community. We believe that the small size offers our associates the opportunity to get to know each of the residents personally and as individuals.
Country Aire Retirement Center has a team of caring professionals that strive to continuously try to improve our Quality of Care and our Quality of Services. We want Country Aire Retirement Center to be the premier facility for quality care and services for those who need skilled nursing care and/or rehabilitation services. In fact, a survey conducted by My Innerview, a third party applied research company, showed that 83% of the residents and/or families interviewed said that their likelihood to recommend Country Aire Retirement Center to others was “Excellent“ or “Good“.

Our rehabilitation unit is a 20 bed facility for individuals needing quality therapy before returning home. Our professional nursing and therapy staff are highly qualified and motivated to provide extensive therapy to our patients to reach their highest level of independence. Our team of experts will implement a customized rehabilitation program specific to your needs. We treat all of our patients with empathy and compassion to provide a comfortable and caring atmosphere for you on your way to recovery. We also offer outpatient rehabilitation to continue your care in the comfort of your own home.
Country Aire Retirement Center Rehab and Wellness Center is a place to easily call home. Our extraordinary staff is highly trained, compassionate professionals with a friendly and inviting attitude. Our licensed facility provides a wide array of therapeutic, rehabilitative and continuing care services. We focus on achieving the highest level of care to meet your physical and social needs. Daily activities include but are not limited to; gardening, crafting, weekly outings, and happy hour social events. There are semi-private and private rooms available.
We offer a trustworthy short term stay for your loved ones. A respite stay is provided for care takers, our goal is to give you temporary relief to take care of your personal needs. We promise to treat your family as ours and provide the care they deserve. Our compassion and quality care sets us apart from the rest, and we have no doubt you'll be able to take the time you need to take care of yourself. Our Respite rooms are private suites and are located on our rehab unit. Flat screen TVs with cable television, restaurant style dining and Jacuzzi bath tubs are also included features during a respite stay.
