Magnolia Village is an assisted living environment planned to respond to people who no longer feel comfortable living in their homes. Located in Natchez, Mississippi in historic Adams County, Magnolia Village is nestled in a quiet neighborhood, yet is only blocks away from medical offices, shopping centers, and Natchez Regional Medical Center. While not a nursing home, Magnolia Village can be an alternative to nursing home care.
Assisted living is part of the long term care continuum which provides housing, personal services, health care, and social programming for those who need assistance with daily activities in a manner which promotes their independence and dignity. Assisted living homes are also commonly known as Residential Care, Adult Congregate Living and Personal Care homes. Regardless of the terminology, they all provide a level of care which meets the needs of those who do not require the services of a nursing home, but need more care than an independent living complex can offer.
Assistance with dressing, bathing, walking and other daily activities is provided. Additionally, the staff monitors and assists with medications. A staff nurse and consulting dietician are available to take care of other health care needs.
Magnolia Village is home. The entry, living room, and dining room are decorated for everyone to enjoy. Each elder may decorate his or her room with familiar and comfortable furnishings. Meals are prepared on the premises and served in a family setting.
Activities are provided to encourage elder participation. Scheduled transportation is available to take elders to shopping centers, banks, churches and planned special events.

The Terrace at Magnolia Village was the first assisted living specialty care home in Mississippi designed specifically for the care of those Elders who live with memory loss, Alzheimer's disease, or other related forms of dementia. Inside, the great room is the heart of the home where meals are served in a family setting and activities are programmed to meet the individual needs of the Elders. The Terrace is designed to allow for safe walking within the building and in the courtyard. All rooms are private and provide daily living cues to the Elders. The Terrace is a wonderful home for Elders with memory needs.
We are very proud of our position to enable those who live with dementia to live among the rest of the community with as few drugs as possible.
