Cross Road Village is a neighborhood of eighty-two (82) independent living apartments, cottages and villas nestled in the pines and greenways adjacent to the Assisted Living Center. Cross Road Village offers peace of mind to residents and their families by freeing them from responsibilities such as yard work and housekeeping while providing support when needed. A manager is available to residents and each apartment is equipped with emergency call buttons so residents can notify a nurse aide in the Assisted Living Center if they need emergency medical care. A club house, covered picnic shelter, fishing pier, deck, pond, and a garden spot enhance the friendly neighborhood atmosphere of the Cross Road Village. These modern, well-built apartments range from one bedroom to six different two-bedroom floor plans. Cross Road Retirement Community is registered with the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation as a community that offers multi-unit assisted housing with services.
The Main Assisted Living Center is a residential community offering assistance with activities of daily living. Some are: bathing, dressing, grooming, medication management, toileting and ambulation.
Regularly scheduled activities ranging from Bingo to scheduled devotions offer residents social and intellectual stimulation.
Twenty four hour video hall monitoring via security cameras with nurse call screens at each station provides added security and safety.

The Assisted Living Center is licensed by the State of North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services in Raleigh.
The Memory Care Center is a specially designed area, which offers a safe and secure environment that is at the same time "dementia" friendly. The furnishings are pleasant yet practical and the surroundings allow residents freedom of movement without encountering obstacles or entering restricted areas.
All exit doors are magnetically locked, which allows residents freedom of movement and a sense of independence. Our 24 hour video monitoring system gives added security.
A well-trained and qualified staff provides professional and compassionate care to our residents. The Memory Care Center incorporates a number of innovative features designed to meet specialized needs of Memory Care residents. The Cross Road Memory Care Center is the assisted living alternative for those suffering from Alzheimer's Disease or related memory disorders.
Cross Road has a full time Activity Director for each area. Residents are allowed to choose their own level of involvement in the community.
Regularly scheduled weekly and monthly activities include: Day trips on one of our two buses, Dinner Outings, Shopping, Exercise, Games, Devotions and Bible Study, Musical Performances, Crafts, and Celebrations of all types.
