hello everyone glad you with us today for spotlight Carolina I'm mark Katie many people who are active of looked for that perfect retirement community that has a great balance of privacy and community and many have found it at pisgah Valley retirement community here today to talk to us about that does Carolyn Stephenson good to see you good to see you mark glad to be here first let's talk about pisgah Valley retirement community being a what's called a continuum care retirement facility what does that mean sure mark what it means is it's a community that encourages an active and productive lifestyle for our residents while they're doing the things they enjoy and living independently at home as long as possible it also provides a safety net of a progression levels of care if they ever need that so at pisgah Valley we have independent living assisted living skilled nursing with short-term rehabilitation okay so there's a wide variety of different amenities and care to choose from exactly well we're here today because there's some exciting new things tell us what's new at pisgah Valley okay we soon we will have brand new apartment homes there will be 46 with stunning views of our natural serene environment look at that you see my other kind of a rendering right there on the same yeah that is gorgeous it's a maze or just also will be offered a new town center it's going to be quite expensive and it will have amenities all in one central location what's going to be offered at this new town center okay one of the things I'm most excited about is a new dining venue we're going to have a bistro and it'll all for casual dining to our residents and we'll also have an NX exercise area in that area they the windows in the town center go floor to ceiling so in the exercise room you can exercise while enjoying views of Mount Pisgah also will have a media room as we know seniors are using iPads Kindles looks more often so instead of a traditional library will have a media center also a visual art studio so if you are artists or if you maybe want to be an artist you could do that at pisgah Valley sounds like you've got everything offered that you could possibly imagine at the town center you mentioned those residents as earlier this a little bit more about that what are offered at the residences okay they're going to feature one and two bedroom spacious homes we're calling the amount and modern so what that means is we're going to have a Mountain fill but also a little bit of a contemporary feel they're going to be as you saw in the pictures a lot of stone we're bringing the stone from the patios right into the apartments and will feature fireplaces in each residence also some exposed wood beam ceilings also some underground secured parking with elevators coming straight up to your residence a lot of thought is going to this real quick people want to learn more about the expansion how can they do that okay currently we're taking reservations at pisgah Valley so I would encourage you to stop by we're only 15 minutes from downtown Asheville or call to learn more 828 for 18 2333 on your screen right therapist give ali dot org it's going to be a great expansion can't wait to see when it's done thank you being here today thanks so much glad you with this video on spotlight Carolina I'm mark Katie until next time take care you
