Eicke have the feeling that you know pick up the phone give me a call I've got help the benefit of a CCRC in terms of accessing senior services versus other senior services out in the community is is that you get all of the services that a senior could or would need under one roof have the assurance that almost anything that happens to me will be cared for within the facility I knew that some things were going to change for us my husband had had a stroke and he needed special care perish the thought if I should fall over I should have some kind of a little t IA or something of that nature the helping hands are there it will be much easier here at southminster to have my ankle tended to after my surgery because the therapy is right here the health facility is here exercise facilities are here all under one roof southminster gives me peace of mind you

Dining Services at South Minister one of the most important things for us was to create an experience that was something that they were proud of something that gave the variety the things that they enjoyed but also brought a whole foods natural foods locally purchased foods you've got the Bistro where it's a little bit casual the dining room where it's a little bit more formal the hours are flexible I tell people it's a little like living at the Ritz Carlton we built a culinary team that is excited about fresh organic and local foods we harvested a thousand pounds of fresh produce out of our garden last year dining has been one of the times here that we have met so many wonderful people you find people are friendly in a sense that they will lean over and talk to you but one of the things that will happen you will never eat by yourself here it's a fun thing to do to meet your friends down there they have trained chefs and the food is chef driven that is the chef's go out and buy the food and cook it we get fresh seafood in from the trout from the mountains salmon from Scotland it's just been a wonderful experience
