Good Samaritan Society Sunset View is an angelic assisted living community in Bloomfield, Nebraska. It is within classy Knox County which is part of the Cornhusker State.
Sunset View assisted living, located just one block south of our Good Samaritan Society – Bloomfield campus, features 15 apartments with 24-hour staff supervision. We are dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to seniors and others in need in our community.
Assisted living communities are licensed healthcare providers that offer residents housing, personal assistance, supportive services, and custom healthcare plans.
Residents live in apartments or residential units and don’t require around-the-clock nursing supervision. Staff members are accessible 24 hours a day.
Assisted living service communities may benefit seniors who:
- need help with grooming, bathing, dressing or other daily activities such as medication management
- are no longer interested in or able to keep up with lawn care, snow removal or other home maintenance tasks
- enjoy and value the security of having neighbors and staff members close by
- need or want help with laundry and housekeeping
- require three nutritionally balanced meals each day
- prefer using transportation provided by others for shopping or entertainment
- enjoy participating in spiritual, recreational, entertainment and wellness programming
Monthly rate includes:
- Three meals per day and snacks; no concentrated sweets diet
- 24-hour staff and response to emergency call system
- Medication administration and reminders
- Paid utilities and basic cable TV service
- Weekly housekeeping to include dusting, vacuuming, bathroom and kitchenette cleaning
- Daily emptying of wastebaskets
- Weekly personal laundry service, including bed change with clean bed linens
- Planned social, recreational, and religious activities
- Maintenance of grounds, building, and furnished appliances
- Off-street parking
- Living area with fireplace, dining room and private family room
- Scheduled transportation to local medical appointments
- Minimal assistance with activities of daily living
- Bathing assistance (1–2 times per week)
- Individual service plans
Additional services offered on a fee basis by Good Samaritan Society – Sunset View or other outside vendors:
- Daily bed making
- Bedding change more than one time per week
- Lost key replacement
- Additional carpet cleaning (spots, spills or the full apartment)
- Additional housekeeping services (if done by staff)
- Guest meals
- Telephone service
- Additional whirlpool bath or shower
