After a month of living within the facility, we use a point assessment based on the ADL's to determine an individual's level of care. There are 14 criteria in an assessment, with points based on needs within each criteria. The greater the need, the higher the point total. The higher the point total, the more comprehensive the level of care and the cost of that care.
